Emergency Aid to the Elderly, Disabled, and Children (EAEDC)

Created January 26, 2006

EAEDC is a cash benefit for disabled adults, caretakers, and some children who are not able to get TAFDC (welfare).

EAEDC is a state benefit. It is different from SSI, which is a federal benefit.  You can not get both at the same time.
